Elementary students will take the third benchmark assessment beginning the week of March 17, 2019. It is imperative that students are in attendance and putting forth their BEST efforts on this assessment. Data will be collected from this assessment to help teachers create small groups and to provide students with opportunities to improve their learning. There is no retesting on a benchmark assessment. I implore each parent to speak with their child about how this assessment paints a picture of how much they have internalized the learning taking place daily. We need to see what students have learned not memorized; therefore there will not be a study guide as the aim of this assessment is to see what students have learned. Below is the End of Quarter Benchmark Assessment Schedule for 7th – 12th Grade. The Benchmark Assessment is a low stakes test that serves as
a checkpoint to determine how students are progressing towards the standards they have learned in Quarter 3. Students will be assessed during
class time on the regular day of instruction for that course. Courses that are not indicated maybe be project based. In addition, all 8th, 9th and
10th graders will be taking the PSAT on Wednesday, March 6th
