My name is Aisha Strong and I am the Assistant Principal of Secondary School.  This is my second year working in school administration in the UAE, I am so thrilled to be at Manor Hall!  I have been an educator for almost 20 years.  I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Math Education from Talladega College and my Master’s Degree in School Leadership from Concordia University of Chicago.  My teaching career began in the Chicago where I taught elementary and middle school.  I later went into administration where I held several positions at the district, school level, and private sector.  My work at the district level included supporting over 20 elementary and high schools with professional development for principals and teachers and coaching conversations/resources to school administrators to leverage their improvement plans in urban schools and to raise student achievement.  In addition, I serve as an educational consultant for the Illinois Charter School Commission for schools that are renewing their charter.

However, the most meaningful part of my career is being a school leader because I have an opportunity to make a direct impact on students.  I have served in various leadership roles which include Principal, Assistant Principal, and an Instructional Team Leader.   My hope is to strengthen Manor Halls legacy by having high expectations with a laser eye focus, a strong sense of community, and a commitment to ensure that our students are successful.
