College and Counseling
In counseling, we work with students from 3 perspectives: personal, social, and academic fields with a globalized character.
On a personal level, our students focus on a deeper knowledge of themselves that will allow them to make better decisions for adult life, if they know about their passions, interests, and talents.
In the social field, we work on the knowledge of those around us, our role within the group, expectations and interests, with special emphasis on the development of appropriate relationships and communication.
In the academic field, we work not only on the purpose of an educational stage such as High School, but also with the transition to the university world and adult life utilizing skills and knowledge acquired during all their educational stages at Manor Hall.
Students at Manor Hall receive individual guidance throughout a specific program which includes vocational guidance assessment, a deep university research, and required assessments such as ACT, SAT, PSAT, IELTS, Em-SAT, for university admission.
The PSAT is offered at Manor Hall each October for all students in Grades 9-11. The PSAT assists them in determining their strengths and developing a plan for taking the SAT and ACT exams for university admission. We also offer a growing selection of Advanced Placement (AP) courses for students in Grades 11 and 12 to better prepare them for the rigors of university courses.
Parents at Manor Hall are highly committed to working closely with the Counseling Department to make appropriate and positive university decisions to ensure that students have the best fit which leads to more success and enjoyment during their university experience.
