Our STEM program supports innovation throughout elementary school. STEM motivates students with finding their own passion and builds upon competencies and skills that they will need to be global citizens. In STEM, students will engage in project-based learning, utilize design thinking skills, construct prototypes, conduct tests in scientific investigations, and develop research skills. At Manor Hall, we empower our students by teaching and guiding them to think critically, collaboratively, creatively, culturally, and confidently.
At Manor Hall, we believe in integrating Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics to support student learning. Problems in the real world are not relegated to one single discipline, so finding meaningful ways to integrate them is very important. We offer a variety of courses aligned to these disciplines such as engineering physics, entrepreneurship, social media marketing, personal branding, and coding/programming.
These courses are focused on 21st century skills, deep learning, and relevance so that the learner is prepared to leave Manor Hall and contribute to the world. These classes are aligned to Pennsylvania state graduation requirements and count as both core classes and electives.
